The EP-DT Gaseous Detectors R&D team plays a major role in the coordination and consolidation of the DRD1 Collaboration. DRD1 focuses on the promotion and development of the Micro-Pattern Gaseous Detector (MPGD) technologies. MPGD offer unprecedented spatial resolution, high rate capability, large sensitive area, operational stability and radiation hardness.
