How to edit the main menu

Case 1

Step 1.

Make sure you have the rights to edit the page. (The editing rights have been allocated in this fashion.) If you do not have the rights follow this guide first.

Step 2.

Navigate to the page and click on the Edit button under the Title.

navigate to the bottom of the editing page and select Menu Settings from the bottom list (it is usually pre-selected)

Step 4.

Select the Provide a menu link if it not selected and choose the correct Parent item from the list. For example if you select as a parent item the <Main menu> then your content will be presenten on the top blue menu alongside Activities and About Us pages. The weight option will give you some freedom to edit the possition of the item if you want it to be first add -50 if you want it to be last add 50 for anything in between it is better to edit the menu it self like in case 2.

Step 5.

Make sure to click the save button before you exit the page.

Make sure you have the rights to edit the menu. It is easy to check if you do. Just hover your mouse over the right -up corner of any left-side menu anywhere on the site. If you have the rights to edit it there will a gear button you can click in order to get the editing list like in the image bellow.
Click on the List links button in order to be re-directed to the main menu tree.

Step 2.

On the new page you will see all the links in a tree hierarchy. You can use the cross icon on the left on each link to drag and drop it on a different position or use the parent item to move a sub-tree at ones.

Step 3.

Make sure to click the save button at the bottom of the page before you close the tab.
