The primary scientific goal of the Antihydrogen experiment AEGIS is the direct measurement of the Earth's gravitational acceleration, g, on antihydrogen. EP-DT provides the overall technical coordination of the experiment. EP-DT staff has also been responsible of winding the superconducting coils and of developing the magnet control and safety systems, and of the integration of the anti-hydrogen detector.
